This one’s personal.

 

Life’s thrown chaos at me since I was a kid - loss, madness, survival mode. I lost most of my family before I even understood what that really meant. I’ve carried that with me through everything thick and thin… until one moment changed it all.

 

My daughter was born.

 

Everything that felt broken about me started making sense. I recorded her heartbeat before she even touched earths ground. That sound sat with me for months and worried me deeply hoping she would be okay. I wanted to make a track with it but I wanted to wait until I heard her voice for the first time. This track is her. This track is me.

 

“Whenever I Feel Lost” is about finding something or someone that pulls you back to earth when everything’s spinning. She’s my centre now. My reminder that life isn’t just survival. It’s magic too.

 

As Forsynth, I’m not here to follow trends or fit inside genre boxes. I’ve been down that road as Ros T – hit tracks, big milestones, Radio 1, chasing playlists, trying to stay relevant and fighting algorithms. But this is different. This is the side of me that doesn’t care about the rules. It’s emotional electronic, garage, orchestral swells, Highland energy all woven into something that just feels… right.
